Millennium Charter Fair

The Procession

To mark the new millennium tradition was broken and
the Fair was held on the day previous to the "crying".

Mr. and Mrs. Pollard are Lord and Lady of the Manor for the day.
An excellent choice considering the effort Mrs. Pollard has put into her books about the town.

The Lord and Lady were followed by lesser dignitaries including the Mayor and Mayoress of Hyndburn Borough Council.
