THE BARON STORY
Most of the family came from the Great Harwood area - Saint Bartholomew's church THE RED LINE We start in the year 1586 with the birth of Edmond Baron
who married an unknown lady (about the year 1607)
Christopher (1)
married Elizabeth Tildsley in 1628 Robert (1) married his first wife about 1659-1660 - name unknown. They had 4 children
Robert (1) married his second wife Ceciley Howsworth in 1670 they had 5 children
Henry (1) married Alice Walkden in 1690 (she was only 12years old and he was 17years old at the time) they had 8 children
Robert (2) Married Alice Michel in 1735. They had 8 children
Henry (3) married Grace Mercer in 1756. They had 9 children
John married Mary Walley 1790. They had 7 children
Henry (5) married Alice Mercer in 1822 (Alice born in1803). They had 14 children
Manasseh, the writer's great/ great grand father, was married twice. First to Alice Crossley on 3/1/1852 at Ribchester, Lancashire (she is the mother of Mary Alice the writer's great/ grand mother) they had 5 children
Manasseh's second wife was Mary Ann Walley, they married at Ribchester in 1860 the same year his first wife died. They had 8 children
Mary Alice Baron married a Thomas Conner in 1881. She was the mother of William Henry Baron, the writers grandfather, who was born out of wedlock 1878 she also had a daughter called Agnes also born out of wedlock. William Henry Baron married Margaret Butler in 1899 at St Judes, Preston. They had 14 children
William, the writers father, married Emily Astley 1925. They had 4 children
William married Freda Brennan 1950. They had 2 children
Freda died in 1984 William remarried, to Eunice Wilson in 1989. Francis married Patricia Cornwell then Married GaleTisdale in 1981 they had 3 children
