Benjamin had a half brother a Thomas Joseph Bleasdale also known as Joseph Thomas. He was a furniture restorer and married Hannah Willacy in 1900.

Hannah Bleasdale, wife, M 33 Assistant Mistress (School), b Lancs Preston.

Not in the Barrett's directories of 1903 - 1909 but he is in the 1901 Kelly's as Thomas J of 53 Queen Street and in 1905 Kelly's as Joseph Thomas Bleasdale of 123 Queen Street.
